Yoga is not about crossing your feet behind your head. It is about your connection to yourself. I have been practising yoga since 2004 and teaching since 2013. Through my various trainings I learned to individually adapt postures to different needs.  I now study to become a state & Swiss health insurance recognized Yoga therapist. My practice and teaching are influenced by Hatha, Vinyasa, Iyengar, Tantra, Ayurveda and Vedanta (an ancient yogic philosophy still applicable in modern times.)

I started practicing yoga in a church basement in the late 90s and I've brought my yoga mat from city to city and country to country ever since. Yin and restorative yoga have helped me cultivate stillness for more than a decade and I love sharing these practices with others. My aim is to allow students to deepen into their own experiences and listen to what their bodies need. I treat each class as an escape from the hectic world around us and embrace using props, slowing down, feeling the rebound effect—and the tongue-in-cheek description of yin or restorative yoga as 'lazy yoga.'

Inside Flow® is a choreographed Vinyasa sequence to a specific piece of music created around a heart felt subject. Inside Yoga is a modern style of yoga that keeps up to date with the latest anatomical knowledge and has adapted yoga to include this.

I found my yoga practice at university as I was searching for a way to stay active, manage stress, and just let go of daily life. Soon after I graduated, I completed a 200-hour vinyasa yoga teacher training in South Africa, as a way of deepening my practice. Since then, I have trained further in yin yoga and have only fallen more in love with yoga as a way of life. In my classes, you can expect creative intelligent sequencing for vinyasa flow, juicy yin postures, as well as mindful breathing techniques and meditation practices. Equipped with my holistic yoga and psychology training, I aim to empower others to find physical and mental balance in their busy lives.
